Why don't you share some ideas with us? I mean...the game is no fun if there's not thinking involved.
If you give me some ideas as to what you want to do, I'll throw some ideas your way.

well I like the idea of doing area damage and area healing i dont like use this skill to make this skill do this so another skill works better i just want a basic direction to go i dont really need a complete build

boon of creation
explosive growth
pain
shadowsong
animate bone minions
signet of creation
is this a good start and where should i go from here?

This is probably the most intelligent post I've ever read here. (I'm not being sarcastic, btw) A great part of the fun here IS thinking. Planning your own builds etc. This is why, as a newbie to GWs,, the first thing I did was to scour the boards absorbing information.
Then, if questions come up regarding specific builds or whatever, they arise from a solid foundation of knowledge.

I'm assuming that you forgot to put Death Nova in there ^_~
Sig of creation will destroy all minions and spirits at the end of its duration....I wouldn't recommend brining it if there are other spirit or minion masters in your party.
Minions are useful, but remember that you can only have as many minions as 2+(rank in Death magic/2). If you raise the minions though, death nova them before they die to get some nice effects.
Explosive growth is a nice combo with minions, good for you to think of it. You may want to look for some spammable skills, do deal with any downtime you may have. At the moment, you're specced into Death, Spawning, and Communing, so maybe a support skill would be nice from communing? Right now, your minions will be body blocking and dealign damage via death nova, so some support skills would be appreciated by the team. Try and find a 20/20 communing staff, because with Ritual Lord on, 60second recharges for spirits becoem aroudn 24, and then 12 if your half recharge kicks in.
Maybe something like....
MM Related Skills:
1Explosive Growth
2Minions
3Death Nova
4Boon of Creation
5Union
6Shadowsong
7Ritual Lord {E}
8Res Sig/Restoration/flesh of my flesh
Personally, I think that the fact that the effects of a spirit are more important than the damage they deal. Especially under ritual lordk since the recharges (finally) become manageable.
Basically, I tried to make sure that almost all skills used trigger Explosive Growth and Boon of Creation. The damage and some aggro distraction comes in the forms of minions. Before a minion dies, make sure to Nova it so it goes out with a bang. Union and shadowsong are support skills to keep everyone alive longer, Union will probably go down pretty fast, but even if you can only keep it active for 10 second, you should be activating it almost every 27 or so. Plus, it's non strippable. Then, shadowsong is nice for its blinding effects in a heavily physical zone. If there's not many physical characters, you could experiment with other spirits.
My only worry in this is energy management. You basically give up one pip of regen to maintain ritual lord at all times, and if that's stripped, then you're in trouble (mainly for supprot skills).

Yeah, if your'e the only MM or Spirit USer on the team, feel free to use the sig. If there are other people there though....please don't take it. Ritualist don't liek having spirits die when they have 60 second recharges :P
